We have a dedicated NUGS Rewards Wallet, with a substantial 20 million NUGS tokens staked across the SmartChain and Base networks.
This wallet automatically earns passive income (interest) from the transaction fees generated by our tokenomics, accumulating value without selling token reserves.
The "SmartLend" Innovation: For Us and For You
Instead of selling the NUGS tokens earned as interest (which could negatively impact the token price), NUGSAU LIMITED utilises a "SmartLend" feature. This allows us to borrow against the asset-backed value of the interest that the Rewards Wallet has accumulated.
Crucially, this powerful feature is not just for us. All NUGS token holders can also utilise the SmartLend functionality. If you, as an investor, wish to take profits or access liquidity, you can borrow against the asset-backed value of your own NUGS tokens without selling them on the open market. This provides a way to realise gains while minimising direct impact on the token's price, contributing to overall market stability.
Fuelling the Ecosystem
The value borrowed by NUGSAU LIMITED via SmartLend (from the Rewards Wallet's interest) is what directly funds all NUGS eSports events, prize pools, creator support programmes, and other community initiatives.
This model creates a self-feeding funding loops that grows proportionally as transaction volume on the platform increases, driving support back to our primary users.
The Deflationary Advantage
What happens to the original NUGS tokens (the interest from the Rewards Wallet) that were used as collateral by NUGSAU LIMITED for the SmartLend loan? We have the option to buy back these tokens within a set period (e.g., 30 days).
If not bought back, a portion of these tokens can be progressively removed from the total supply (effectively "burned") over time. This deflationary mechanism reduces the overall token supply, enhancing the value of all remaining NUGS tokens.
A Virtuous Cycle
This process creates a powerful, self-sustaining cycle. Events are funded by NUGSAU LIMITED's use of SmartLend, and the potential reduction in token supply can, in turn, enhance the value of all NUGS tokens held by our investors and community members.
