1. Introduction & Account Registration

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to the entire NUGS ecosystem, including the Esports Arena, Ascent stats, and stream overlays (collectively, the "Platform"). Accounts are non-transferable. You must provide accurate registration details, including your real Date of Birth, Country, and Competitive Region.

2. Age Eligibility & Youth Protection

Base Platform Usage (13+): Individuals aged 13 and over may register account identities, join rosters, enter free-to-play events, and participate in service-fee-only matches. Individuals under 13 are strictly prohibited from creating accounts.

Cash Competitions & Withdrawals (18+ / 19+ / 21+): Entering competitions with real-money cash prize pools or executing wallet withdrawals is strictly restricted to users who have reached the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction (18+ baseline; 19+ in AL, NE, BC, etc.; 21+ in AZ, IA, LA, MS, MA, PR, Greece, Estonia, Singapore, Monaco).

3. Skill Gaming Legal Exemption (Non-Gambling)

All competitive tournaments and matches hosted on the Platform are Skill-Based Esports Competitions. Outcomes depend predominantly on player physical dexterity, strategic execution, reaction speed, and game knowledge — not chance. The Platform does not offer or permit games of chance, sports betting, or casino gambling.

4. Classification of Competition Entry & Ticket Fees

• Free-to-Enter Cash Tournaments (Fee = $0, Prize > $0): Promotional skill competitions. Open to eligible users aged 13+; cash payout withdrawals require 18+ KYC verification.
• Platform Service Ticket Events (Fee > $0, Prize = $0): Service/Ticket fees paid for server hosting, broadcast production, or platform organization hold no financial payout or risk. Not classified as gambling.
• Pay-to-Play Cash Competitions (Fee > $0, Prize > $0): Restricted strictly to users meeting the regional age of majority (18+, 19+, or 21+) in permitted skill gaming jurisdictions.

5. Restricted Jurisdictions & Regional Exclusions

Pay-to-play cash competitions (Fee > $0, Prize > $0) are strictly void where prohibited by law. Automated system checks prevent entry for residents in restricted US states (Arkansas, Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont) and restricted Indian states (Assam, Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Nagaland). Residents of restricted regions remain eligible for free-to-enter tournaments.

6. KYC Verification & Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Wallet Policies

To comply with international Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards and card network regulations, all wallet balance withdrawals require Government Photo ID KYC Verification. Users must be 18 or older to complete KYC and withdraw funds. The Platform reserves the right to request proof of age or identity at any time.

7. Code of Conduct, Anti-Cheat & Integrity

Cheating, exploiting bugs, smurfing, match-fixing, colluding, or utilizing unauthorized third-party software results in immediate account termination, forfeiture of prize balances, and a permanent ban across the entire ecosystem.

8. Subscriptions, Payments & Merchandise

Tiered Supporter memberships (Bronze, Silver, Gold) provide digital utility perks (custom banners, shop discounts, stream ticker displays). Subscriptions do not constitute financial investments. Payments are processed securely via PayPal, Revolut, and Stripe.
